Legal & Privacy

Cookie Policy

Last updated: January 2026. This policy explains how essential and functional cookies safeguard your examination session.

1. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Essential)

These cookies are vital for user authentication, cryptographic session integrity, and state preservation during active online examinations. They prevent session hijacking and permit uninterrupted test recovery in the event of brief network disconnects. Because they are strictly necessary to deliver the service, they cannot be deactivated.

2. Preference & Interface Cookies

These store your customized interface settings—such as color mode preferences (dark/light theme), default font sizing for accessibility, and language selections. Disabling these cookies resets interface configurations between browser sessions.

3. Performance & Diagnostic Telemetry

We employ strictly aggregated, anonymized performance metrics to measure socket latency, server response times, and rendering speed across global examination centers. These analytics do not track individual examinees across third-party websites. Institutional administrators can configure diagnostic telemetry in the tenant console.

4. Zero Third-Party Advertising Trackers

QSmartExam is an academic software ecosystem. We do not host third-party advertisers, behavioral retargeting pixels, or ad networks on any portal or exam delivery interface.

5. Browser Management & Controls

You can inspect, block, or clear cookies via your browser preferences. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent authentication into the faculty and candidate portals.

6. Questions & Data Subject Inquiries

If you have questions regarding our cookie practices, refer to our comprehensive Privacy Policy or email privacy@qsmartexam.com.
